My name is Dawn Eff, I’m an artist, poet & zinemaker from Tennessee
I started doing artwork at age 7 when I set up a little table in my bedroom doorway with a list of what I could draw. I would ask my family to pick out what they wanted and then I’d proudly create their request. In middle school, I became the go to person for folder art, with my artwork adorning the front flap of nearly every 8th graders folder.
As an adult, I’ve come to find I love using contrasting color and uplifting words to pull people into my artful universe. I love to merge my art with words because words can resonate and genuinely touch other people. My goal is to positively impact those around me and anyone who sees my artwork.
